In early 2017 we took eight sewing machines to Garden of Hope, a locally-organized social help group in Kisumu, Kenya. The eight or ten women there had been making clothes with three old, mismatched sewing machines that were constantly breaking down. They are now able to make more clothing and bags, and are selling them in several city markets.
